The Annual Commodore's Ball, in addition to being one of the first official social events of the year, is also the opportunity to recognize a PCYC member for their outstanding contribution to PCYC.
Commodore’s Award for Outstanding Contribution
The Annual Commodore’s Ball, one of the premiere social events of the season, is a formal dinner-dance hosted by the Commodore. It is a night of celebration and camaraderie with fellow members and also a time to recognize the significant contributions of PCYC volunteers.
The Commodore’s Award is presented at the Ball to a team or individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Club. Nominations for the Award are submitted by members who wish to recognize a volunteer, whether it is for a longtime dedication in service to the Club, or the completion of an important project. During the evening, the efforts and accomplishments of all nominees are presented by the Commodore so they can be acknowledged, celebrated and thanked on behalf of the entire membership.
