Port Credit Yacht Club is a 'Volunteer Run" organization.  It depends on its members to participate at various levels for its well being.  All the members of the Board of Directors and each committee are volunteers from the general membership.

It is not, however, a 'self-help' club.  There is no requirement from the members to participate or 'contribute' hours to work programs or the like.  Those that do assist in the Club governance do so because they choose to, and wish to give back to their club in some way.

Members that feel they can contribute are encouraged to contact a member of the Board of Directors, or the General Manager and they would be happy to guide you in the right direction.
