This is a point to point race against the clock for the coveted Millennium Trophy that was generously donated by Peter Rowe. To compete, the boat must be owned by a PCYC Member who is eligible for a mooring for that boat, and must be Skippered and Helmed (for the majority of the run) by a Junior, Intermediate, Associate or Senior Member (or their spouse), but these need not be the owner. The Millennium Run is open to monohull sailboats at any time from May 1, 2017 to 23:59hrs October 1, 2017. The skipper must record the exact time taken to sail between the western pier of the former Lakeview Generating Station to the Dufferin Bell Buoy or the other way around. Times are accepted on the honour system and may be submitted (to the nearest one-hundredth of a second) by completing the requested data located in the applicable section of the Sailing Instructions and submitting the completed document to the Communications Centre after each completed Millennium Run, the final submission no later than 0800hrs Monday October 2, 2017.

Your Club Racing Committee does not require a 2017 Registration Form however we do require a completed 2017 Club Waiver Form and your results submitted in the official reporting format found in the Sailing Instructions. Please follow the 2017 Club Racing Documents link found under the Results & Schedules heading on this page. Print and complete the 2017 Club Waiver Form and fax it to 905-278-2519 or deliver it to the Communications Centre. The former Lakeview pier Start/Finish line:
The former Lakeview Generating Station has two piers. There are two fixed red navigation lights on the western side of the westerly pier, as well as a row of light standards along much of its length.
To start or finish a Millennium Trophy run at this location, the time is to be taken when the bow of the yacht crosses the extension of a line drawn through the row of light standards on the western pier, while within 100 yards of the pier.
The Dufferin Bell Buoy Start/Finish line:
This buoy is a red and white fairway buoy marking the entrance to the western gap of Toronto harbour. It carries a white navigation light displaying Morse code "A" with a period of 6 seconds. It appears on most charts as navigation marker "T" and is located at approximately N43° 37.26' W79° 25.18'.
To start or finish a Millennium Trophy run at this location, the yacht must pass within 100 feet of the buoy, the time to be taken when the bow of the yacht crosses the extension of a line drawn through the buoy and the large white dome at Ontario Place.
