Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you know we all thought the family BBQ yesterday was great. Good food for the low low price of $10.
It was nice to have a choice of protein and the two salads was a great option. The coleslaw was delicious. A bag of chips and a cookie made for a nice lunch. It was a brilliant concept and well executed.
I hope you had a good turnout and good feedback for a sunny Sunday afternoon.

"Hi: I’ve been trying to get to writing this all week. Just a note to say what a fantastic job everyone did last Saturday. The servers were friendly (lots of smiling greetings as everyone entered) and attentive. Lately I’ve noticed some of the servers getting more comfortable showing their great personalities a little more (in a totally appropriate way) and I think that’s great. It creates a more personal and connected experience when you can see something about the person beyond the nametag. And it then looks like they enjoy their job.
And the food. Oh the food. The spread was amazing!! So many options, we all ate too much because we didn’t want to miss anything. Cliff and the kitchen staff outdid themselves. We wondered how they managed to make so many different items for one meal. I don’t know who came up with the passport idea but it was fantastic, except for the fact we are competitive so we all ate too much to ensure we got our stamps (“Oh, I still have to go to Italy!!”) Who won that contest anyway?
Congrats on another fantastic event! I always tell people “but you CAN’T miss the Splash Party!” and I’ll still be saying that!

"On Wednesday I hosted the Anthropology Department from the ROM for the Festive Lunch. The lunch was exceptional!! Not only was the buffet exceptional, but your staff were all extremely professional and made the experience both pleasant and rewarding. We finished the afternoon off on the boat and since many of the staff are new to the ROM this was their first time to experience both the PCYC and the boat. I can say that the pleasant experience of lunch and experiencing the PCYC harbour in winter use was eye-opening and made for a unique way for them to end their year. (The younger adults with children were impressed that we have both a pool and the beginning stages of a skating rink.) This is the third time that I have hosted the Department for the Festive Lunch, and each time the PCYC has shown itself in a very bright light indeed."

"Hello,
I am late in sending this message with regards to the PCYC Wassail evening of December 1st.
It was wonderful to see so many in attendance at the reception and to meet all the current Board of Directors. We reserved for dinner in the dining room and were not disappointed.
Although we both ordered the 'Beef Tenderloin', which was cooked to perfection, we have to comment on the squash soup. Once again Chef has gone above and beyond with an appetizer…"

On behalf of the LOOR organising committee I would like to thank you, the serving staff, Chef and the cooking crew for the wonderful service at our Awards Banquet on November 10.
Although I did thank PCYC staff from the podium on Saturday night, I wanted to ask you to pass that thanks on personally to each and every one of them. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and friendly, no one was turned away, and everyone had a good time.
I know you understand that this event is a showcase for the club and we had people from more than 10 yacht clubs present. The PCYC members were proud of the way the club was represented, and we look forward to 2019!"

I heard nothing but a great comments on the service the Room itself, the location and the overall professionalism that you and your team have shown.
To be honest I was kind of nervous at the beginning, but you guys have made this event much more successful.

"I've meaning to shoot you a note about how great the food was last Tuesday night. Our crew of 5 girls came into the chartroom after the cancelled race; several of us ordered the taco specials, and the corn. All was fantastic; we all commented on how appetizing the food looked (you know it's good when people start taking pictures). Katie and I had the tandoori shrimp taco platter, the tacos were so colourful and the shrimp had just the right amount of heat. Those that has the corn raved about it and also enjoyed the pork tacos.
Great work by the staff! We were impressed!"

Very good yacht club, good docks with very helpful staff. Did not get to enjoy the Fine Dining since it was closed on Monday but both the food and the service in the Casual Dining area were excellent. Really enjoyed the refreshing pool.

"The Probus Club of Cooksville’s Fine Dining Group agreed unanimously that dinner last evening in the PCYC Dining Room was one of their best ever events, to date.
The perfect weather certainly provided a wonderful panorama which included the Wednesday evening silors.
