General Dress Code (not including Club Protocol Events)
General
The following Dress Code regulations apply to all areas of Club premises:
· Smart casual attire is acceptable throughout the Club.
· Bathing suits are not permitted in the main clubhouse.
· Torn pants and tops, and offensive phrases or images on any article of clothing are not permitted.
· Tank tops are not permitted to be worn by male members and/or Guests inside the Clubhouse.
· Hats or visors may not be worn by male Senior, Junior, Intermediate Members and Guests in any indoor dining area.
· Shoes must be worn at all times in the clubhouse and outdoor food service areas.
Dining Room.
· Men - Smart casual attire is acceptable (i.e. a shirt with a collar and sleeves;
long trousers; tailored jeans or dress shorts). Note: Jeans in disrepair, even designer jeans that are designed and sold to be worn in a torn or sloppy way, non-dress shorts or cut-offs are not considered appropriate attire.
· Ladies – The minimum dress requirements for ladies is conservative smart casual attire (i.e. a dress, skirt, slacks, tailored jeans or walking shorts with a blouse or sweater). Note: Jeans in disrepair, even designer jeans that are designed and sold to be worn in a torn or sloppy way, cut-offs, are not considered appropriate attire.
· Sports and fitness attire, tank tops, baseball caps and bathing suits are not permitted.
Swimming Pool
· Bathing Suits are permitted in the swimming pool area only.
· Cover-up attire must be worn over bathing suits while inside the Clubhouse. Cover-up attire consists of a top, bottom and shoes.
· Members are encouraged to use the change rooms provided in the swimming pool area.
Pets/Animals
· With the exception of Service Assist dogs, pets are not permitted in any areas of the clubhouse, including patios and any area in which food is served.
Cell Phones
· Members are asked to ensure that cell phones are set to silent/vibrate only when in the main dining room so as not to disturb other members. Members making/receiving phone calls on cellular devices are encouraged to do so outside of the main dining room whenever possible.
Members that do not meet dress code requirements will be notified by the Vice-Commodore House when an infraction has taken place. Staff have been instructed by management not to provide service to members who refuse to remove their pets (withe the exception of Assistance Animals) from food service areas of the Club so as not to violate public health code.
