Originally used for the overall C&C 34 winner in the Frostbite Series of the Cruising Yacht Racing Association, it was sadly retired in 1985. The Ice Bowl name, up until 2003, was very appropriate. Now that the LO 300 is in July, those frigid temperatures, we hope, are a thing of the past.
The PCYC Ice Bowl is awarded to the yacht in Fully Crewed Spinnaker Division 4 with the best corrected time for the LO300.
