Donated in 2001 by Debbie Elliott in memory of her husband, Gordon Elliott.
Gordon Elliott was a long time member of Oakville Yacht Squadron, and chair of the LO300 in 2000. He was always an active participant and tireless promoter.
During 2001 and 2002 it was awarded to the first boat to round the Oakville or PCYC mark, depending on the direction of the race.
From 2003 onwards, the Gordon Elliott Tigress Trophy has been presented to the yacht in Double-Handed Spinnaker Division 1 with the Best Corrected time for the LO300.
