The Turkey Race represents the final weekend Club Racing event for the season. Scheduled for Sunday, October 2, 2011, this point to point event is open to all sailing Members of PCYC.   We will host a Cruising Division as well as our traditional White Sail and Spinnaker Divisions so there is something for everyone. This time we’re racing for turkeys, as Division winners will walk away with their very own frozen bird just in time for Thanksgiving.  It’s a fun day  and with fair winds you will be back at the dock before 1500 hours.  

If you did not sign up for the Turkey Race event at our 2011 Registration Night it’s not too late to join us.  Register now following the 2010 Club Racing Documents link found under the Results  & Schedulesheading on this page, print and complete the 2011 Registration Form and the 2011 Club waiver Form and fax both forms to 905-278-2519 or deliver them to the Communications Centre.  Please also bring a printed copy of your Registration and Club Waiver with you to the scheduled skippers meeting and hand them to the Race Committee.  Be sure to also print yourself a copy of the 2011 Sailing Instructions and refer to Appendix F for the details of this event.
