PCYC is very concerned about it’s environment, and has a dedicated, specially designed area for handling the storage and removal of batteries and oil.

Oil & Battery Disposal

Drums for the disposal of used oil, and a pallet for used batteries are located by the garbage bin between the mast racks and the workshop building. Please leave your old oil and batteries there for disposal. Do not put containers of old oil in the regular garbage cans or bins.

Oil Pump

The Club has a portable oil pump for quick, clean oil changes. Please return the pump immediately, to the Harbour Staff, upon finishing.

Disposal of Shrink-wrap

Each winter, a growing number of Members have their boats covered with plastic shrink-wrap. Due to past problems with the disposal of this covering in the spring, we recommend that you make arrangements in the fall with your contractor to have him/her remove and dispose of the shrink-wrap in the spring. Otherwise you may be billed for the disposal costs.
